I have been teaching yoga for many years. I received my training through the Temple of Kriya Yoga. My classes focus on finding your balance in the pose, in a healthy way. We use props when needed. It is my passion to make yoga accessible to everyone. I teach pranayama (breath control), and meditation techniques during my classes as well. I am also a Thai Massage Practitioner. Thai Massage is sometimes referred to as “lazy man’s yoga”. In short, it is a massage done on a mat on the floor, utilizing positions similar to yoga poses.

Which Class Pass is right for YOU…?

It depends on how often you plan to come to class. Although we understand that it’s not always possible, we recommend practicing three or more times per week (at the studio or at home), as that’s when the magic of yoga starts to happen!New students often wonder how frequently they should practice yoga… and if taking one class a week is going to make a difference to them. In our opinion, if you practice less than once a week, you won’t see any concrete results. However, if that’s all you can do and it makes you feel good, then by all means come and enjoy the time you spend on your mat! If possible, once a week should be absolute minimum though. If the gap is too wide, it makes it difficult to develop a routine or make any lasting progress. Practicing yoga twice a week doubles the positive effects! Postures begin to come a bit more easily and many find that they feel better off their mat too. They report sleeping better, being less stressed, and that the practice is complimentary to their other activities.

Practicing three times (or more) a week will help deepen your understanding of the practice. At this point, most find that their flexibility, strength, stamina, and range of motion has noticeably increased as well. Once you’ve established a steady, consistent practice, you can miss the occasional class and easily get back into the rhythm of the practice fairly quickly. Your body may start to crave the movement… it’s easy to get hooked on the practice when it feels so good!
