Born out of a love for deep transformation, The Wellness Barn Studio is committed to meeting you where you are and taking you forward to where and WHO you want to be. Yoga is a unique discipline that helps you attain physical and mental fitness through techniques of movement (asanas) and meditation.
We promote the practice of yoga for both physical fitness and self-growth. Whether you are just discovering yoga or have been practicing it for years, The Wellness Barn Studio has classes for all levels of yoga practitioners. Our instructors are here to assist you and are dedicated to helping you make the connection between your physical practice and your inner wisdom and soul.
The Wellness Barn opened in the summer of 2014 and it is located in an old Victorian house at 231 Lincoln Street, just east of McMillian library. Once a boardinghouse for teachers, since then has been beautifully remodeled by the present owner. Tarah Mancl (studio owner) converted the lower level of the house into a perfect, peaceful yoga studio teaching a variety of types of classes and styles of yoga including Hatha and various Vinyasa format classes. The upstairs of the Wellness Barn is occupied by three independent massage therapists who have created some truly tranquil spots for clients to leave their stress at bay. All 3 therapists have something different to offer ranging from relaxation, deep tissue and couples massage. So whether you are looking for tension relief or just some personal relaxation time; the massage therapists are ready to leave you feeling better.
